CLUB MARINA LANDES

France / Aquitaine
Mimizan, known as the "Pearl of the Côte d'Argent", is found on the Atlantic coast of France in the massive forest of the Landes.

It was the first ‘bathing station’ in the Landes and was created at the end of the 19th century. Mimizan les Bains (its name at the time) was popular and attracted many famous people who spent time there including, amongst others, Winston Churchill, Coco Chanel, Salvador Dali and Charlie Chaplin. In 1911, the Duke of Westminster built the Château de Woolsack that has survived to this day.

Even now, this seaside resort has kept many of its charms: nature is abundant and protected and it has a special peacefulness that allows you to recharge.
