CAMPING AUF DEM SIMPEL

Germany / Lower Saxony
Our serene campsite is a 3rd generation family-run business. The entire team works together in maintaining a calm natural atmosphere for your relaxing stay. Our extensive range offers for both families with children and people of any age, a pleasant and comfortable campsite experience.
“Auf dem Simpel” derives its name from a hill (81 metres above sea level), which on former maps was called “simple” elevation. That is where Willi and Lissy Marquardt set up the camping site in 1964 giving it the name “Auf dem Simpel”.
Our site, which has an overall size of 90,000 m², is opened all year long. It has 120 year round holiday and seasonal pitches, a tent area (which can be used as a gathering point for groups with caravans and camper vans) as well as 100 comfort pitches that can also be used with caravans, camper vans and tents. These spacious comfortable pitches are surrounded by hedges, and equipped with power and water connections as well as a sewage hook-up. Cable TV is partially available.
The careful handling of nature is an important matter to us. The ADAC awarded our camping site with the price “Das grüne Blatt” and the decoration “ECO-Camping Umweltmanagement” for its water and power saving measures. Our guest rooms*** ranging in size from single to family room, all have their own shower bath. A generous breakfast is included in the price. Our tastefully decorated holiday homes*** are completely equipped for up to five persons. There's always something to do at our Holiday Resort: A big play area for children, open-air pool, E-bike and bicycle rental, WLAN, beach volleyball, and much more besides. Just a few kilometres away, you can explore one of the most beautiful conservation areas in Lower Saxony, the Lüneberger Heath.
