Welcome to Strandcamping Mentl. Nestled between the Gerlitzen and the Ossiacher Tauern in the heart of Carinthia lies the idyllic Ossiacher See. Pure water, clean air, southern climate and bathing temperatures of up to 28 degrees make the hearts of camping enthusiasts and nature lovers beat faster. The very well-maintained camping complex offers parceled pitches with electricity connections, some with direct water and wastewater connections, modern heated sanitary buildings with children's facilities, baby baths, changing rooms, individual washing cubicles, disabled facilities, washing machines, dryers, ironing facilities. Two children's playgrounds and a water slide as well as children's entertainment in our crunchy house help keep the kids entertained. For sports enthusiasts, hikes, bike tours, morning exercises and various ball games are offered. (magnificent cycle path network). Lake Ossiach is also a true paradise for fishermen. Many large pike, carp, zander, catfish, eel... are caught in our own fishing water. Barbecue evenings with live music take place weekly in July and August. In the Café Restaurant Tamara you will be treated to national and international cuisine and you can round off an active or relaxing day with a sociable get-together in the camping buffet. The central location of our campsite means that a variety of sights, excursion destinations and hiking areas can be reached in a very short time. With the Kärnten Card you can visit and use these excursion destinations, as well as the shipping and mountain railways, at a reasonable all-inclusive price.
