Welcome to Hedebo Strand Camping One of North Jutland's most beautiful campsites located directly on a child-friendly beach with a blue flag and just a short walk along the beach promenade to the beautiful and authentic town of Sæby. The campsite is also close to Skagen, Aalborg and Frederikshavn with museums, shopping and café life. For almost 60 years, the Christensen family has run this lovely site, located on the waterfront and with Understed Bakker in the backyard. Our campsite is perfect for those who want to bring a boat, fish, swim or surf, sunbathe on the beach, go for a walk, hike in the nature or simply sit on a bench on the beach promenade and enjoy the view of the sea. At Hedebo Strand Camping you can find peace and quiet, or you can choose to make use of our many facilities on the site - a lovely pool area with, among other things, a children's pool and a 12m high surf hill, a mini golf course with a waterfall and fun obstacles, TV rooms with free wifi, outdoor and indoor playgrounds for the young and slightly older children, as well as events organized by our sweet and welcoming staff, such as a flea market at Pentecost, a gathering for vintage motorcycles, a car show where hundreds of special cars meet and admire each other's cars, and creative fun in the height of summer in our large indoor play area - Skovhuset. Here is a grocery store with everything from fresh bread from the local baker, ice cream and soft-ice to everything you need for the barbecue and camping life, a cozy café with a view of the beautiful Kattegat sea and several modern toilet and shower buildings with family rooms.
