Tenuta Squaneto

Italy / Piedmont / Alessandria
Here in the green hills on the boundary of Piedmont and Liguria, we can offer you the simultaneous enjoyments of peace, quiet, space and comfort. Because our front yard has the Flower Riviera of Italy within a three-quarter of an hour’s drive and because our back yard has a top wine country in the form of the Barolo wines, these enticements make Tenuta Squaneto the ideal base from which to plan a number of wonderful retreats to enjoy your vacation getaway.

Both regions are well-known for their culinary delights. Liguria is famous for its Mediterranean specialties, delicious olive oils and celebrated pesto’s. The Piedmont region has achieved international fame by starting the Slow Food movement, centred around the use of local fresh produce and against the Fast Food culture. Piedmont is also renowned for the king under the Italian wines, the Barolo, and an additional delicacy in the form of the white truffle from the village of Alba. But, of course, as true gourmets we do not have to inform you of those facts.

The dictionary describes a connoisseur as “someone who has a refined, delicate taste.” With our extended services and facilities we will do everything possible within our means to make these wishes of a connoisseur come true during your stay at our Tenuta Squaneto.
