The Camping Venus is located on the southwest bank of lake Idro, which is deep in the green landscape and surrounded by lush, evocative mountains.
It is situated in a wonderful, tranquil/quiet location.
It is the perfect place if you are willing to spend your holiday relaxing yourself and doing some sport activities , always in contact with nature. This almost unspoilt area gives you the chance to have an enjoyable walk within the surrounding woods or make excursions in the mountains, with different degrees of difficulty (from ìvie ferrateî to rock climbing).
The campsite is equipped/provided with a bar and a terrace overlooking the lake, a small market, two modern buildings for the toilets (one with a private disabled bathroom; the other one with a baby-changing room), an open-air swimming-pool, a recreation ground for children, table tennis, table football and a volleyball pitch. You can also hire mountain bikes, go-karts, kayaks and paddle boats easily by making a reservation at the office. At the entrance of our campsite you will find the restaurant ìAlla Grottaî, serving traditional Italian food such as Lasagne and Persico. At the guestsí disposal are two washing machines and a dryer, all functioning with coins that can be bought in the mini market. Hot water is included in the price and can be used without restrictions.
The majority of our pitches are internal, more or less shaded. They all lie on a grassy area and are 10x6 m large, with 3/5 ampËres of electricity (European socket is required).
The car is usually parked within the reserved pitch, but should you need an extra parking spot for your vehicle, you can have it by paying a daily rate.
The pitches facing the lake lightly slope towards the lake shores. They are larger than the internal ones (80 mq) and lie on a grass. They are more or less shaded, with 5 ampËres of electricity (European socket is required).
The pitches of the second row are a limited number and partially shaded. They lie on a grassy area and are 90/100 mq large, with 5 ampËres of electricity (Europen socket is required).
